Vet-Stem Regenerative Medicine:  Vet-Stem Regenerative Cells are stem cells derived from your pet’s own fat that are used to help regenerate injured tissues.  This new therapy is currently being used to improve quality of life for patients with arthritis of the knee, hip and elbow.  It is also used in tendon and ligament repair.   The procedure involves harvesting fat cells from your pet, shipping the cells to Vet-Stem which isolates the stem cells and returns them to us for surgical injection into the joint(s) or tissue.  Response may be variable but most patients improve in their quality of life.
